Personally, I always prefer wax to other hair removal methods. It not only removes hair efficiently, but also exfoliates the skin, leaving it smooth and shiny after waxing. Also, it is not as dangerous as the chemicals used in depilatory creams that most people use, and it does not irritate sensitive skin. It only takes three ingredients that you can easily find in your kitchen!

What do you need
1/2 cup of sugar cane
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons of water
Corn starch, as needed

method
Once your three ingredients are ready and measured, all you need to do is mix water with the lemon mixture. This will make about 1/4 cup of liquid. Put this liquid in a saucepan (preferably small) as it is easier to handle for beginners. Most of the recipes I have come across use vinegar or honey, but they are completely unnecessary and not easy to perfect. With that being said, let’s cover the essential part of making this sugar candle, so pay close attention!
Combine all the measured ingredients in a saucepan. Instead of putting it on high heat, use medium-high heat because you don’t want the mixture to burn and turn it into a hard candy, even if some of us do.
You should start stirring the mixture as soon as the pan is on the stove with a whisk or wooden spoon. It’s completely up to you to decide, but either way, mix it up anyway! By doing this, you will ensure that the paste does not burn and mixes to form a clear liquid.
Look at the mixture to determine if it is ready to use. If you see a lot of foam, feel free to lower the heat. This is taking a while so be patient ladies! As soon as you start to see the mixture change from light yellow to slightly golden (something that looks like golden syrup) remove it from the heat but keep stirring to cool it and you should see a bit of foam, but it will fall off as you use it. keep moving it.
To determine if the texture of the paste is suitable for the wax, all you need to do is take a spoon and check that the syrup is still liquid and runny and let it cool while stirring for a faster process.
When the mixture has cooled, remove it from the pan with your hands by soaking it in water first, so that the wax does not stick to your hands, and knead the wax. Keep a bowl of water by your side while kneading in case the wax starts to get too sticky in your hands. Continue kneading the dough into balls.
Try! Take some cornstarch and rub it on the area you want to remove and apply a small amount of wax in the direction of hair growth and then pull in the direction of hair growth. This is an important rule to remember when using sugar wax!
